Accommodation in twin share, en-suite rooms on a breakfast only basis throughout (dinner is included at Quinta Montanha), return airport transfers on Sal and Santiago, 1 x return inter-island flight per person, 3 x guided full day tours with transfers and lunch, 1 x half day orientation tour of Praia, visas, island representation, and air ticket reconfirmation. There are lots of different international flight options to Cape Verde, so whenever we give you a flight quotation, we will quote you the cheapest and most appropriate available price.

Day 1 Arrive Sal. Transfer to Hotel Morabeza.

You will be met in Sal airport and transferred to your hotel in Santa Maria (20 minutes).

Day 2 Fly to Santiago.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your flight to Santiago. You will be transferred from Santiago airport to your accommodation in Praia (10 minutes) and then go on an orientation tour of Praia with one of our guides.

Day 3 Guided tour of Cidade Velha

Today you will have a day trip to Cidade Velha, the former capital of Santiago. Now just a shadow of its former self, you will visit the historical Fortress behind the town and some of its churches and of course the poignant pillory post where slaves were tied and punished.

Day 4 Transfer to Rui Vaz.

Today you are driven up into the spectacular mountains for your stay in the village of Rui Vaz (30 minutes without stops). During your transfer you'll be able to stop and take in the mountainous views and pass through the village of Sao Domingos with its busy school.

Day 5 Transfer to Tarrafal

Your drive today takes you to Tarrafal (60 minutes without stops), stopping at the house of Amilcar Cabral in Assomada and taking in the spectacular mountain scenery and, if you are lucky, views of Pico do Antonio.

Day 6 Transfer to Praia

Today you will return to Praia for your last night on Santiago (1 hour 45 minutes without stops).

Day 7 Fly to Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (10 minutes) for your flight back to Sal and then transferred to Hotel Morabeza (20 minutes).

Day 8 Transfer to airport. Depart Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your return/onward flight.
