Before you head to Santo Antao you will have a night on Sao Vicente with a full day guided walking tour of the interesting city of Mindelo. On Santo Antao, you will be staying in two hotels, one in the mountains with its own pool and spectacular views from its bourgainvillea framed terrace and the other on the coast in a fishing town. You will have 2 days guided tours leaving a free day to relax.

Accommodation in twin share, en-suite rooms on a breakfast only basis throughout (dinner is included at Hotel Pedracin), return airport transfers on Sal, Sao Vicente and Santo Antao, return ferry tickets to Santo Antao, 1 x return inter-island flight per person, 3 x full day and 1 x half day guided island tours with lunch, visas, island representation and air ticket reconfirmation. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE LIMITED NUMBER OF GUIDES ON THE ISLANDS THERE MAY BE OTHER PEOPLE WITH YOU.

International flights (we will look for the best flight for your chosen date of departure). Meals not specified above and insurance. Additional excursions on free days.

There are lots of different international flight options to Cape Verde, so whenever we give you a flight quotation, we will quote you the cheapest and most appropriate available price.

Day 1 Arrive Sao Vicente. Transfer to Hotel Porto Grande

You will be met in Sao Vicente airport and transferred to your hotel in Mindelo (15 minutes).

Day 2 Mindelo full day city tour

Today you will have one of our knowledgeable guides to take you on a walk through the historical parts of the city as well as the fish and vegetable markets, you'll stop for coffee and a cake (included) and visit a pottery school and guitar workshop. Later you'll drive to a viewpoint above the town to appreciate the beauty of the bay enclosing Mindelo.

Day 3 Ferry to Santo Antao. Half day tour.

Today you will be transferred to the ferry terminal (5 minutes) for your ferry to Santo Antao (1 hour). On arrival at Porto Novo, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in the hills (90 minutes) with a half day tour and lunch included.

Day 4 Full day tour of Paul Valley

You will be collected in the morning for your full day tour with a guide visiting the fertile Paul valley and the interesting fishing town of Ponta do Sol, stopping on the way at various viewpoints.

Day 5 Full day tour finishing in Ponta do Sol

Day 6 Free day

Free day to enjoy Ponta do Sol and watch the ladies gutting the fish on the harbour wall!

Day 7 Ferry to Sao Vicente. Fly to Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the Porto Novo (90 minutes) for your ferry to Sao Vicente (1 hour). On arrival you will be met and transferred to a hotel with use of a day room while you wait for your flight to Sal. On arrival in Sal you will be transferred to your accommodation in Santa Maria (20 minutes).

Day 8 Transfer to airport. Depart Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your return/onward flight.
