Accommodation in twin share, en-suite rooms on a breakfast only basis, return airport transfers on Sal and Sao Nicolau, 1 x return inter-island flight per person, 3 x guided walks with transfers and lunch, visas, island representation, and air ticket reconfirmation. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE LIMITED NUMBER OF GUIDES ON THE ISLANDS THERE MAY BE OTHER PEOPLE WALKING WITH YOU.

International flights (we will look for the best flight for your chosen date of departure). Meals not specified above and insurance. Additional excursions on free days.

There are lots of different international flight options to Cape Verde, so whenever we give you a flight quotation, we will quote you the cheapest and most appropriate available price.

Day 1 Arrive Sal. Transfer to Hotel Morabeza.

You will be met in Sal airport and transferred to your hotel in Santa Maria (20 minutes).
Hotel: Hotel Morabeza Meals: N/A

Day 2 Fly to Sao Nicolau.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your flight to Sao Nicolau. On arrival in Sao Nicolau you will be driven to your accommodation (15 minutes) in Ribeira Brava.

Day 3 Guided Altiplano walk (6-7 hours : Grade - Medium)

This lovely long walk along the spine of Sao Nicolau gives you a great views to each side of the island. The first hour of this walk is uphill but once you are on the spine the route undulates along at quite an easy pace. The path is a mix of dirt and rock tracks and covers the barren, crater filled part of the island in contrast with the lush valleys to the west. This walk can be shortened as necessary.

Day 4 Guided Canto de Faja walk (4 hours : Grade - Easy)

Starting from a small farming village in the mountains, you climb 150m and then descend along cobbled paths to the coast and the village of Ribeira da Prata. This is a lovely walk through the fertile interior of the island passing through small holdings and corn plantations with lots of opportunities to chat to the locals.

Day 5 Free day in Ribeira Brava.

Free day to explore the pretty town of Ribeira Brava with its colourful houses and gardens wedged into the narrow valley.

Day 6 Guided Monte Gordo walk (various)

There is a choice of routes - length and difficulty - in the Monte Gordo Natural Park so your guide will suggest which one is most appropriate.There are some spectacular routes through dense greenery in the shadow of Monte Gordo (1312m) and an ascent of the peak is also possible. You'll see aloe vera, dragon trees, coffee, tobacco, corn and lots of endemic trees and plants along the way.

Day 7 Fly to Sal.

You will be met in Sal airport and transferred to your hotel in Santa Maria (20 minutes).
Hotel: Hotel Morabeza Meals: Breakfast

Day 8 Transfer to airport. Depart Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your return/onward flight.
