Boavista turtle conservation project

Boavista turtle conservation project - 4nights

Sal Boavista turtle conservation project island desciption
Ideally added to another island itinerary, this short trip allows you to visit the fascinating Loggerhead Turtle project on the south of Boavista. Run by a Spanish organisation, the objectives are to tag the adults, educate and train locals in turtle conservation and increase the normal survival rate of the baby turtles (just 1 in a 1000) by providing safe hatcheries and keeping predators away from eggs.

Operates April to September
