Bungalow resort set on spectacular Chaves beach

A low key and relaxed hotel set right on the 12km soft white sand beach of Chaves with its pounding breakers. It's a great place to relax into with its beautiful pool shaded by palm trees and loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Although the sea is often too dangerous to swim in here, Sal Rei is only a 15 minute drive away and there are safer beaches there. Service can be a little erratic and with all its rooms in small bungalows, it does have a "complex" feel to it but it is very comfortable.

FACILITIES:
There is a lovely bar and restaurant (outdoor and indoor) serving Cape Verde and Italian food, beautiful swimming pool (with large shallow area for children) and free internet access. A courtesy shuttle bus also runs into Sal Rei twice a day though we would recommend hiring a small jeep for a few days as this will allow you visit some of the more remote and stunning beaches.

ACCOMMODATION:
There are 90 bungalow style rooms including suites which comprise a bedroom and a kitchen/lounge area. All rooms are comfortable with ceiling fans, private terrace with loungers, shower and fridge.
